The AI training provides basic AI skills that are relevant in almost every area of work. It is aimed at companies, government agencies and organizations that use and manage AI or need to assess the potential effects of use. AI training covers technical, legal and ethical aspects of AI use. These include the basics of AI, requirements of the AI regulation and their implementation, data protection, transparency and labeling obligations for AI content, high-risk AI systems, copyright aspects, ethics, and practical use cases for legally compliant AI use.
The content of the AI training is divided into short lessons of 1 to 4 minutes. They only take 60 minutes in total. Interactive exam questions ensure that the content is understood. Companies and organizations risk fines of up to €35 million or 7% of annual turnover in the event of legal violations due to lack of AI competence in accordance with the EU AI regulation. Data breaches can result in additional fines of up to €20 million.
Managing directors are personally liable if, in the event of legal violations, they cannot prove that they have ensured sufficient AI expertise in the company or organization.
The certificates for participants in AI competence training and the confirmation of participation for employers serve as proof of sufficient AI competence in companies and organizations in accordance with KI Regulation Art. 4.
